Jeffrey Sullivan 3 TLDR: This mouse pad makes my mouse's output inconsistent.I had been using a cheap, no-name mouse pad from Amazon for about a year, but it was starting to get unpleasant even after washing so I tossed it when I moved a month ago. I figured this would be an upgrade given the well-known Razer brand name, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The materials feel and look nice, sure; but it's supposed to be a mouse pad, and it doesn't work properly in that regard. When I move my mouse above a certain speed, it's like it starts to miss some of the distance traveled - the cursor doesn't move as much as it should. For example, if I quickly swipe left and right repeatedly, I can keep the cursor's average position centered rather well when using a proper surface, but on this pad it drifts dramatically and almost immediately. The effect is strong enough that it's seriously annoying even in mundane PC usage, let alone "gaming".My old cheap mouse pad worked fine. My desk's bare surface works fine. A dang piece of scrap paper works fine. This pad doesn't, so regardless of how nice it looks or feels it gets an F.
